About Me

I first got the “acting bug” when I was 10 years old in a church play. After spending years performing in school plays and musicals, I realized that acting was exactly what I wanted to do with my life, so I got my BFA degree in Performing Arts with a minor in theatrical design.

I started my professional stage career working at the Detroit Repertory Theater, and the Organic/Touchstone Theater in Chicago. While working in Chicago, I got the call to head back home to Detroit to become a main-stage performer at the acclaimed Second City. I spent two years as a performer- writing and acting in 6 productions.

During that time I got married and my husband was accepted to UCLA graduate school for theater, so we packed our bags and moved to sunny LA! I continued my stage work- working extensively with The East LA Classic Theater directed by Tony Plana (Ugly Betty/Madam Secretary), as well as the Open Fist Theater company.

Within a few years of living in Los Angeles, I was asked to be a part of a one-man stage show starring Larry Joe Campbell (According to Jim) that offered her the opportunity to work in comedy again. In season 4, I guest-starred on Key and Peele and was also asked to offer my musical talents as a violinist to the production.

I spend most of my time now acting in commercials, taking photos of other actors, and using my design skills to make Halloween costumes for my 2 kids!
